Lynn McMahon
President of MPR Farms Inc.

Lynn caught the horse bug full force around the tender age of six when she started taking professional riding lessons at a private facility. It was clear to her family that she had a serious passion for the equine species from day one; some people would say she was destined to be a part of the industry in some way. Her desire to learn was obvious to her parents whom afforded her the opportunity to train with some of the most well known professional's in the north east region including Patricia Messina (equitation), Donal Egan (jumpers) & Raul De Leon (classical dressage).

Over the years Lynn competed in USEF rated horse shows primarily in equitation & hunter divisions aboard her first pony My Painted Robin & show hunter Southern Charm. Throughout her college career she was an active Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association member and participated in a full schedule of IHSA shows including the Regional & Zone finals with great success. Upon graduating with her Bachelor's of Science degree in Business Administration with concentrations in both Management/Leadership & Finance, Lynn was hired at CA Inc., a fortune 500 company as an analyst in their marketing department. A demanding full time position couldn't hold her back from working part time with the horses as she began to slowly develop a clientele of her own teaching riding lessons & building up a facility at her home in Medford; now a fully operational farm known as MPR Farms Inc.

Her interests have shifted to the breeding niche which Lynn continues to learn from each year. She has built an extensive network within the horse community & prides herself to be able to help other horse enthusiasts pursue their dreams as she did. The farm has offered several hundred students advance over the years and continues to uphold a reputation of excellence. Lynn is a professional member of the United States Equestrian Federation, the United States Hunter Jumper Association & the Long Island chapter of the Professional Horseman's Association.
